What part of Peterborough Road was this party? Is it the party they finished up in the changing huts, in Poulter Park.

This photo is the VE Day party in Peterborough Road in May 1945. The picture shows numbers 197 to 203 with a gathering of locals on the pavement. The two ladies looking out of the window are Mrs Howard and Mrs Bradford. Us children had a party in the army huts in Poulter park then joined the adults for one in the street. At night there were fireworks in the surrounding streets and an effigy of Hitler was burned on a fire on Selby Green. WZ3G2
